January Featured Items of the Week

Tuesday, January 5th, 2016

Every week in January, we highlight one of our favorite products at Eagle Hardware Farm and Ranch!  Each featured product is something you may need now as temperatures outside fall, and prepare for winter; it may be a new product we are carrying, an item that is on sale, or it just may be a product we think you plain just need to know about!

Here are our Featured Items of the Week for January:

Jan 4 – Straw - There is no better bedding for livestock and pets than good ‘ol straw.  Crazy thing is, it has been near impossible to stock.  With the wet spring and early summer, the farmers we count on to bale our wheat straw simply were not able to harvest their crops and bale our straw.  Thankfully we have a stopgap solution for the year and is this week’s Featured Item of the Week.  Stop by and let us help you keep your beloved pets and livestock warm and dry.

Jan 11 – Country Acres 12% pellets - Looking for an economical yet nutritious horse feed?  Purina’s Country Acre line hits that sweet spot of being good feed at an affordable price.  This Week’s Featured Item of the Week is the 12% pellet blend.  Stop by soon and let us show you their other options as well.  Tell then, stay safe and see you soon!

Jan 18 – Tarter Hay Ring - This Week’s Featured Item of the Week is a step away from the norm.  Though we traditionally sell more of the economical welded hay rings, this week’s Featured Item of the Week’s is our Tarter Hay Ring.  These heavy duty hay rings are made of 1-3/4 inch tubing and powder coated to last!  If you’re considering a hay ring to last longer than three or four seasons, this is it!  See you soon!

Jan 25 – Onions/potatoes - It is the dead of winter.  The weather the next five days keeps us in the 40s!  Know what that means?  Onion and Potatoes!!!!  That’s right; it is time to get them in the ground!  This week’s Featured Item(s) of the Week are onion sets and potatoes.  Stop by today and see what varieties we have.  We have the traditional and a couple newbies.  See you soon!
